Pauline Harris
I have over a decade of experience in the publishing industry and am the author of nine published novels. I most recently worked as an editor for Georgia McBride Media Group, whose imprints include Month9Books, Tantrum Books, and Swoon Romance. Her company is a leading indie publisher with many bestselling authors. I’m also a YA author with representation experience with the Charlotte Sheedy Literary Agency in New York.
Other companies I’ve worked with include Melange Books, Penmore Press, Lost Horse Press, Glass House Press, Patchwork Press, CrossLink Publishing, Exaltation Press, Bound to Brew, and 1AND1Life.
I hold a BA in English Writing with an emphasis on editing and publishing from Whitworth University.
I’ve known since a very early age that I was meant to work with books—whether it be writing or editing them. I fell in love with reading and writing as a young child, which is part of the reason why Middle Grade and Young Adult fiction hold such a special place in my heart. I not only love crafting my own stories, but helping authors fine tune and polish their own. I believe with determination, tenacity, and the right advocates on your team, every book can succeed.
Leonard
Named after Star Trek’s talented Leonard Nimoy, Lenny is my trusted editorial assistant. Don’t worry, I won’t be outsourcing your manuscript to him. He merely provides moral and productivity support in the form of cuddling and purrs.
He loves playing fetch and stealing and hiding all of my socks. He’s also a great lap warmer in the chilly winter months.
